My name is Jason Adams and I have been the Golf Course Superintendent at Blue Hill Country Club since 2008. During that time I have removed in excess of 2600 trees, have overseen and designed 5 major cart path installations and have substantially modified the soil profiles of the putting greens. We have incorporated a "Drill and Fill" program four times and a dryject program to achieve our desired results on the greens. We have also renovated several bunkers in-house and completed a major sand replacement project in 2011. In 2011 we completed a new irrigation system installation and created a detailed ornamental planting plan in conjunction with a new pool project. In 2016, a major driving range renovation was completed which included a 35000 square foot short game area, a new office and break room facility was installed, a new 1000 gallon aboveground fuel storage tank was installed, the 6th challenger hole was renovated and a new 1300 square foot fertilizer storage area was installed. Over the past 16 years of my career I have had 11 Assistant Superintendents. Five of those Assistant are currently Golf Course Superintendents, one is a property manager and another is a representative for a chemical manufacturer.
